Whether you are looking to celebrate a family event [a wedding rehearsal, birthday or anniversary], a corporate meeting or event, or need a special place to celebrate the holidays, Café Trio has three very unique spaces that are perfect for any event. With a reputation for award winning food, hospitality & service Trio is prepared to provide outstanding private dining or meeting opportunities for fifteen to over a hundred guests. Main Street  Event Space

The Main Street Event Space  is our largest and most flexible event space, accommodating up to 80 depending on the configuration. A few of the events we’ve proudly hosted have included Corporate Gatherings, Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings, Cocktails Parties, and Fundraisers. The room can easily be split into two sections to accommodate multiple parties or a combination of standing and seated service.

Jewel Box Dining Room

jewel-box-cocktailThe Jewel Box Dining Room [perfect for smaller groups of 15 to 20] overlooks the main lower restaurant and can be connected to or separated from the adjoining Main Street Event Space. The Jewel Box is perfect for dinner parties and smaller business presentations.

  • A great bird’s nest view overlooking the main restaurant.

Fountain View Deck

deck-north-3The Fountain View Deck is truly one of our best features, however; it is also our most popular feature and as such is rarely booked for large groups, except with premium pricing. Although the deck can accommodate over lager numbers, if we discuss booking a private event, we typically ask that deck events are limited to fewer than 35 guests, usually hosted on the North end. Events ideal for the deck include cocktail and social gatherings (presentations or plated dinner service is not recommended). Since the deck is also part of our regular cocktail & meal service bookings are very limited and require additional advance preparation and restrictions, and premium pricing as mentioned above.

  • Fantastic View of the J.C. Nichols Fountain and the Country Club Plaza,
  • with year round use due to climate control features.
